We are now offering a one-day cooking experience which is all about food that is natural, flavourful and inspired by the seasons. Leonardo & Jaynie invite you into their garden and kitchen to share a cooking experience rooted in pride, family traditions, and a love of good food!
Your day will begin by foraging fresh seasonal produce in our gardens to be used for your day’s cooking experience. Then we continue in Visconti Kitchen restaurant where you will learn the art of making various types of fresh pasta from scratch – ravioli, pici, pappardelle or chitarra, in addition to having the unique opportunity to learn some of the treasured family secrets of creating delicious sauces inspired by the season. Using the produce from your morning harvest and the best locally sourced ingredients available, this experience will also include learning to cook with world-renowned treasures such as truffles and saffron.
To complete the day’s menu you will also learn to prepare either a specialty meat or vegetable dish from the Abruzzo region.
Your day will culminate with a late lunch that you have created, along with Abruzzo wines -some of our personal favourites, and served on the restaurant terrace where you can relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Aterno Valley and surrounding mountains.

Where to stay
We do not offer accommodation with our one-day experience however we can recommend some beautiful B&Bs in the area (15-min walk or drive from the restaurant), based on reviews from our guests and friends.
